How's the almond colour for you so far? btw did you manage to get the $54 coupon?

enjoying this phone thoroughly so far, really glad I managed to snag this at $787 looks like we both succumbed to the poison known as oneplus... using oneplus phones again makes me wonder why i sold my OP 3T for a pixel 2 XL

as soon as they told me there was no blue but they had stocks for almond, went to YT to see the difference. and somehow i fell in love with the almond been using dark colored phones all along and this is my first bright colored phone so its a refreshing new look for me.

i did not manage to get the $54 coupon but i got the coupon one tier below it ($18 IIRC). did all my calculations and the almond costs $840, which a price that isn't too bad considering i payed $720 for my 5T almost 2 years ago. at this price point with 3 months physical in-store warranty i'll gladly say its a good deal. also, i don't think i would have as much time after this weekend to transfer my phone over and familiarise myself with it hence i did not put in more effort to try and get the $54 coupon

time to re-read this thread in greater detail to figure out which tempered glass and casing combo has been tried and tested...

Just bought the WSD for my Oneplus 7 pro from Mobilestop Serangoon Nex. I got it for $49.90 after asking Mobilestop on Facebook if their promotion is still on. I must say no regrets!! WSD is indeed the best protector for curve screens. Very good Oleophobic coating and fingerprint don't even need to re register and can work already. Just buy WSD and don't need to look further or spend money to keep changing. Compliments the superb screen of the phone.

Stock protector is fine, but wsd will be smoother since its glass. Can just touch the back glass on the phone for a feel.

it seems fine to me too but i think the amount of screen protection a tempered glass provide is on a different league as compared to a film protector

anybody else here using the almond colour? what cases ya'll using to pair with it?

Using China UV glue screen protector for a month liao. Working great and no problem of peeling off on the sides as reported by some users.

Just got for it, it's miles better than the stock protector. Hated it due to the dust and rough feel
