I upgraded from 5T to 7P

it isn't so much about the cost as much as what you're paying for. the screen itself is worth the upgrade imo. I don't use the selfie cameras much on my handphone, so 7P being a pop up camera serves me well.

I have used the wide angle camera and I would say it is a good to have / more of a convenience than a need. that being said however, I am not picky with camera. decent images will do for me.

I took the plunge with WSD TGSP at $49 and honestly it's really out of this world. the smoothness, clarity and fingerprint accuracy is just top notch.

however, idk is I itchy or what after a few days with the WSD I changed from the stock case to a ringke case (against the advice of the person who put on the WSD), certain corners of the WSD had... somewhat like bubbles. but it isn't obvious so I don't mind it. it honestly perplexes me how that happened because the case does not even touch the tgsp at all! perhaps while putting it on, I may have force it more than I needed to which may have caused the slight bubbles

Any reviews on official OnePlus nylon case

Tried poetic, supcase, uag, oneplus Karbon and nylon... The case I love most and always use will be the nylon. Slim yet offer overall protection... The Karbon case is slimmer but doesn't protect the top and bottom part. The others I tried superb protection (mil standards) but makes the 7 Pro bulky.. I would recommend the Nylon case.

i used amex true cashback card (1st 6 months 3% cashback on all spend up to 5K)


i bought 500 QCoins at 10% discount + 3% cashback = 619$ cost for 725$ worth of Qcoin(1.45 rate now but when i bought the q-coins the rate was 1.42)

bought the OP7P 8/256 from geekermart and used 15$ shop coupon + 100$ off 1000 coupon(today)

geekermart price = 923-15-100 = 808

difference between the cost of the phone and the qcoins i have is now = 808-725= 83

i used the current 3% off qcoins + 3% amex cashback to get this 83$ equivalent for 78.02 [which is 83 x 0.94]

then 3$ cashback from shopback

so total cost of the phone is

+619 (cost of 725$ worth of QCoin)
+78.02 (cost of 83$ worth of QCoin)
-3 (Shopback)
===
694
===

you guys can use the same method to maximize your price, just that you wont have the increase in QCoin from 1.42 to 1.45 that i benefited by

No issue. Works very well. No need to recalibrate fingerprint profile.

Just curious how many OP5T owners upgraded to OP7?

OP7 got no wide angle lens, I think quite useful at times. I know I can pay more for pro version but I do not wanna pay more, moreover pro version more heavy in weight

Nowadays most phones comes with triple camera setup. Just wondering if most ppl here use wide angle lens mah?

I know I m not paying as much as OP7 pro but OP7 still cost more than mi 9t which has triple camera setup

Me 5T to 7, no regrets since still oxygen OS, and I don't like curved screen. camera wise, I think it is still ok but if you are looking at oneplus phones, you should know camera is never their strong point although they have been improving.

I think I read somewhere, you managed to get lazada 9.9 vouchers liao Op7 currently about 619 for 1 or 2 sellers, not sure if it will get lower on 9.9, if you got scb 99 voucher + lazada voucher, you can get at quite low liao
