Yup, planning to get 1 red OP7 on 9/9

Been waiting for a while to get my hands on a red OnePlus

But as 9/9 gets closer, I start to wonder if it is worth upgrading

haha, still remember you are aiming 500+.
For me I got 7 at a good price even cheaper than my 5t, I am not complaining. I think you have chance to get even lower than me during 9.9.

But if camera is really a concern to you, I dun think you should be looking at 7 or maybe consider topping up for 7p

yes I believe that is the only shop in the east that does WSD apart from the one at bugis. be sure to give them call before heading down! (first time I went they had no stock)

their number can be found on their fb page if I'm not wrong. hope you get to enjoy silky smooth WSD soon!

also, after it has been installed perhaps wait for a few days. as mentioned earlier I put a different case and bubbles started appearing towards the edges. nothing major that it affects how it looks imo. but still, for $49, heart pain when bubbles appeared not long after :o

Being a typical cheapo, I just hope I can cheap phone but got many functions yet. I just like OOS more than any other phones

I think having additional camera is a plus point nia. Not that we need it but just good to have it. Coming from LG where it has wide angle lens. But I don't use it most of the time only when taking group photos or landscape. But most of the time will be using the main the shooter which is the most important one.

Having good hardware without a good software to compliment it is not really complete. I think oneplus has good hardware and software and combine to make it look and feel good. Really enjoying it so far.

took the plunge too, they had 2 on display fortunately :)

the lady who helped was very knowledgeable and explained of the bubbles and cases compatibility before purchase. unfortunately mine has tiny bubbles too and it seems like the glue leaked into my front camera and my top speaker :(

but the smoothness is unparalleled, and purchasing it mainly for protection too :)

edit:unfortunately my top speaker now seems to be emitting little to no sound, anyone knows how to clean the glue in it :/

edit2: trying my best to clean it with alcohol, but it still sounds muffled

Casefactorie....
I think I rmb somewhere from this thread that if you don't want the uv kit, they can quote you 49. I'm not sure if it's still the case.

the tiny bubbles appeared right after installation? if yes it could be that they installed wrongly right :(

the leaking into front camera and top speaker thats new. I've never heard of it before. did she not put the protective cover for the speaker grille before dropping the glue? :o

I've got no idea regarding the glue removal :(

after experimenting awhile, it seems that the bubbles appear when i itchy hand and touch the glue that seems to have overflowed and cured.

not sure if she did not put the protective cover, because suddenly my camera seems to be wet, then it turned out to be glue. the top speaker was almost muted, so I just dripped alcohol and rubbed with toothbrush, the sound seems to have returned, but I can see the glue residue stuck inside beneath the speakers. However the top part of the protector seems to have bubble now probably because of the constant interaction with my toothbrush

I managed to get back the sound after using alcohol and toothbrush, but can see the glue residue beneath the speakers :/
