Yah. i got the same keyboard problem. Spacebar higher now, keep mistype

Sigh I keep mistyping on spacebar on the empty space nonstop since yesterday. Quite regret to update to 10 so fast since there isn't any significant improvement or new features this time round :s22:

Hope they push out a new update release soon. I noticed my battery seems to drain a bit faster leh. Duno issit my imagination :s22:

Seems like cannot adjust the empty space below the keyboard tho I can adjust the height of keyboard :( or maybe I can't find? U updated to 10 already?

Pls teach me how coz keep hitting on the bottom empty space instead of space-bar when typing omg so annoying and it's so aesthetically unappealing too

Can give a screenshot what bothering you? Maybe I also have it just that I am fine with it? =:p

But android 10 is quite tempting. haha, i find the new gesture quite good to use. At first was not use to it, now i finding it quite handy to use the gesture.

Same, at first I was cursing and swearing but now I felt that this gesture is quite useful when the phone is big while holding it with one hand.

Now I am able to go back by swiping the corners (if use right hand to hold, swipe bottom right screen to go back as my fingers not long enough to reach the bottom left of the screen, etc)

What telco actually support vowifi in Singapore?

Sent from OnePlus GM1900 using GAGT

Singtel
10char

Mine is starhub and TPG, vowifi is not dependent on telcos if I am not wrong.

For oneplus devices in singapore, you need to do the forced volte steps shared before in this thread before you can get both volte and vowifi working

the blank space underneath keyboard is for better hand positioning for typing

I personally don't feel so. Don't like it and big waste of screen estate! Build so big screen but purposely made keyboard take up even more screen space? Like back to square one :s22:

Think this is more for the switching of recent app by swiping the bottom space - that's my personal thought

I'm pretty sure this is correct .... Apple iPhone also have the same big useless space there

https://www.slashgear.com/iphone-x-keyboard-gap-theres-a-reason-for-that-06506979/

The space is to prevent users to accidentally swiping up to go "Home" when you use/swipe the keyboard while typing

Nonsense. I was using oneplus gesture all along and the keyboard doesn't have that white space at the bottom. I never once gotten that accidental swipe to go home like you mentioned.

So Google is blindly following iphone again... Sigh, I wish they have their own direction and do what's right than being a shadow of iphone forever. From faceid, to no headphone jack, to wireless charging (they have it first but remove that feature) and this terrible nav gesture also bluntly copy until so failed...

Navigations gestures (left and right)

Custom settings; hide the bottom bar

At least pleasing to the eye for me.
