What's the best way to reach them? Very slow responses on qoo10 messaging system...

On OnePlus.. there is no fingerprint needed to toggle the NFC which is a case for concern for Google pay.. for Samsung.. and type of toggling requires pw input or finger print.. so.. tell me... How much harm will there be if anyone that picks up ur phone and then starts enabling nfc thru status bar without unlocking ur phone and requires no form of identification at all

You need to unlock the phone before you can scan for payment isn't it?

Try using it in the lockscreen without unlocking your phone.. toggle ur NFC off beforehand.. pass it to someone and then ask them to do it.. u will know my concern.. it's been in Reddit OnePlus forum for even 6T.. that's y I'm asking whether does this thing carries on to 7T before I purchase it

are u worried that NFC can be turned on without ur permission, thus compromising your phone to intrusion via NFC ?

cause i am pretty sure even if 2nd party can turn on NFC without unlocking the hp, they still need to open the payment app to use it, which in this case u need to unlock the hp to open the app.

Google Pay no need to open the app. As long phone unlocked and NFC on, it will activate. Even if someone can toggle NFC while phone is locked, they can initiate any payment while phone is locked.

didnt know bout this for google pay. i suppose one could remove the nfc from the pulldown screen (or whatever it is called) as a work around ... of cos u lose that shortcut button than ...

but this seems like more of a app issue then the hp issue ??

Used that. Mine battery not 3.8k. so uninstall haha

Those already installed with oxygen global rom.
But if you worry about warranty then best to get local set

Anyway just to confirm, tried using gpay on MRT gantry just now. Without unlocking your phone. GPay cannot work. Even if tap phone to wake still cannot. Phone must be unlocked to be able to use gpay.

okay, i am abit rusty with this ... it just writing over the china rom with the international version, which is in the local version which some of the local shops (shopee) are selling ...
