So far using the phone has been no issues at all. But the refresh rate of 120hz seems less smooth than my SD S20u. Might be due to different types of display panel by different brands.

Tried playing pubg for around 20 to 30mins and phone got quite warm but not to the extent of being hot. But noticeably warmer. No overheating messages popped up but it might be not recommended for long hours of gaming. This phone is not meant for gaming anyway so for other uses like during setting up and running other tasks, phone runs cool.

I am curious about Volte, since many comes comes with VOLTE out of the box, why does oneplus block this function. To prevent overshadowing the bigger brother oppo?

Telco have to work with oneplus and vice versa on this. Oneplus alone can't do anything about it also if telco doesn't support VOLTE function for oneplus phones

Overall the OP 8 Pro exceeded my expectations and offered a much improved Oneplus experience. The UI, buttons and switches feel traditional Oneplus but with added fluidity and feel.

Good feel and build quality.

Yup same for me as well. I was using s20+ and i can see the scrolling performance difference. S20 seems smoother and touch latency is better. But oneplus not that bad either.

Any pro have tips on what to do with the battery when we get the phone?

E.g. during set up and installation should we be charging the phone? let it drain first? charge to 90/100 the first time? etc. Thanks in advance!
