Finally got my hands on at one of demo set at jurong point... To be honest I was quite disappointed with the quality build...the back felt like plastic
The screen is nice though...

I compared the camera between oneplus and pixel

I think once you enable advanced mode then you can install different version of the same firmware. Just select the correct version from device menu and make sure to select full update.

I done this already leh.. but they still say my system is up to date..

you are right. apple design their own phones, AND they determine what goes into the phone. It is not design by a china company. this is the difference.

I will not pay so much for a china phone (design and made by china company). if it is selling at $499, maybe can consider, anything more is not worth.

But u cant deny, 8t specs and components used, for export set of 800 bucks its definitely a good buy. I doubt u can find similar specs phone at this price from samsung or even other brands. So far the only phone i think of that can offer similar performance to price ratio is the mi 10 T

I feel like this is a comparison between apples and durians when we consider what's under the hood. The world of android is running on SD whereas apple has their own chipset. Both are pretty much top notch in day to day use, even in gaming.

But consider the fact that 8t(export) is about 700 while iPhone 12 costs about 1.2k(i think) while delivering similar (day to day) experience performance wise, I think 8t is pretty worth it although the build is a far cry from apple. I respect your benchmark of 499 but I do think 8t is worth it's price of 700.

To each his own I guess
