M1 likely to be the first telco to have volte and 5g for 8T without any tweaking since they are selling it.

That definitely makes sense! M1 has better make it fast!

So, when M1 pushes it's official 5G and VoLTE .Do I have to "tweak" back or rather revert my VoLTE profile using QPST or just leave it as "Commercial-DT-VoLTE"?

Okay. Going to AA if can.

I can't do it now as the versions number of AA and DA are the same at the moment and also there isn't any latest full rom file for AA.

If I'm not wrong. Changing rom doesn't change the cell bands of the hand set.

Got it but firstly, I need to downgrade my 6.8_DA to anything lower before I can flash to .6.8_AA!

The downgrade part is very tricky, needs a bit of luck and dangerous!

Tried 4 times to enter the EDL in order for the Downgrade Tool to recognise my 8T, then successfully! That was the most difficult part sia!

40 minutes was all it took to downgrade from 10.0.6.8_DA to 10.0.5.6_DA and then Local Upgraded to 10.0.6.8_AA Global ROM on Indian set KB2001!

That it is! Running on official Global ROM now and no more flashing to be safe! I don't wanna brick my one and only mobile phone!

Strange but true!

Global rom is really much much more snappier sia. Even the transitions and animations are much much more smoother and refined! I'm speechless! It is likes my 8T is running on a SD865+ instead of just a SD865 on Indian rom.

Never wasted my effort last night.

Good. So u used msmtool. Its better that way as it is a total clean flash of firmware!

Safer way will be using the local upgrade from phone using the zip file

Ya! The MSMTool. Straight forward, fully automated in a way and super clean flash.

That is if everything went smoothly. There are people encountering errors when flashing halfway. U will have heart attack if that really happens lol
