how's realme UI? just learnt that it's under Oppo as well, same as Oneplus

Oneplus used to be good but nowadays lots of bugs n slow updates. and once your phone is not the current model, the updates is even slower

I also just saw A12 stable update yesterday when oxygen updater pushed it in the notification.

Goto Bluetooth > More > Advance Settings and turn on media volume syn; i noticed this low volume on my ear buds and this is resolved by turning on the media volume syn.

not sure whether this is the same audio issue that you faced. hope this helps
