I would say decent ? I don't run test but slightly better than op6. And op6 is running on 60hz screen..

Hi friends, am on S21 and thinking of switching to OP9 in view of the better oxygenOS. What irks me most for S21 One UI is that the system font sizes on WhatsApp and Telegram (main chat pages) are still large even though I have changed system font size and screen zoom to smallest. I am currently only seeing 9 conversations on WhatsApp and 10.5 conversations on Telegram (see SS attached). Also, font size on Telegram main page (not conversation page), remains huge and seems like I am unable to change it

Anyone can advise the number of conversation tabs you see on WhatsApp and Telegram on the OP9? Does the main chat pages scale down accordingly as you decrease the system font size? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have font size set to default and display scaling set to small. 9.5 for Whatsapp and 10.5 for Telgram.

OxygenOS is definitely better than OneUI. I got a S21 with my contract renewal and am selling it on carouhell. The only thing I feel I'm giving up is the 3x optical zoom.

1. Can I check if you were to scale both your font size and scaling to smallest, what would your conversation tabs be? On the S21 if I scale all to smallest, it’s currently 10 on WhatsApp and 11 for telegram.

2. Since you have both the S21 and OP9, any noticeable battery life differences? Since OP9 supposedly has a higher battery capacity.

Not coming. Oneplus 9 was released together with 9pro globally, no reason to separate the releases. Since they never announced together for local release, means not coming liao.
If you look at the whole SEA region, all (Malaysia, indo etc) only get the normal OP9, and then they group us together with this poor region. So best is to hope that they have a 9T release soon in SG

And don't tell me chip shortage when you can sell the normal OP9

I just wonder if there'll be issues (apart from warranty) if we get the global ROM from export sets as sold on shopee.. lazada etc..

like, will some SG apps give issues such as SingPass? or maybe the 5G bands not compatible with SG?

I've purchased OP9P from Shopee for just over two weeks and I'm loving it except for a function - Always On Display. Anyone encountering such an issue or is it a known issue of op9?

Initially during the first week, the always on display will work as per usual, until I received a notification from either whatsapp or telegram, then it become super dim, till the point where its useless.

During the second week of usage, the always on display after locking the phone, displays for only about 5 seconds, then it just went blank screen. whats worst is that if there's any notification after, it does not even ring or notify me.

The irony is that i have to use AOD so that I can see that there's pending notification since they removed the LED notification light, but the AOD is causing more issue instead.

Any recommendation for fixes?
