if cant take the slow update, VPN to canada or other countries see if can get updates

oneplus updates roll out in phases. it might reach u 1 week to 2 weeks later

maybe u can try oxygen updater from playstore, download the update in the app and do a manual update from there

I understand it has to do with Carrier Policy I'm on Starhub

Android Central claims that OnePlus will unveil the OnePlus 9 RT in October this year, and it will offer minor upgrades over the OnePlus 9R. On the hardware front, the OnePlus 9 RT will pack a higher-binned version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, a 4,500mAh battery, and 65W fast charging support. The device will feature a 50MP Sony IMX 766 primary camera and a 120Hz AMOLED display. As with the OnePlus 9R, the OnePlus 9 RT will be limited to the Indian and Chinese markets.

As far as the software is concerned, the OnePlus 9 RT will be the first phone from OnePlus to launch with OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box. Android Central has access to an internal build of OxygenOS 12, and the publication claims that it emulates OPPO’s ColorOS to a greater extent. However, it still packs the OnePlus Launcher and a couple of features, like Work-Life Balance, Zen Mode, Scout, and Shelf, that are exclusive to OnePlus devices.

So after some testing, it seems why m1+starhub cannot connect to 5g for me is because i am using the china model for op9 pro, it would apply for all op9/8 series as well. I bought a eu/global 8 non-pro model IN2013 and its able to run 5G no issues.

OnePlus 9 got gmail notification issues. You can't receive push notification for gmail. Widespread issue but Oneplus hasn't address it in months. Something to think about before you commit to one

You'll be lucky if you get anything more than 2 years
I'm almost 2 years into my OP7T and the recent Android updates are there but have been crap

Battery draining, wifi issues, suddenly apps not working, laggy interface etc
