May I know what is the model of your phone?
OnePlus 10 Pro 5G, bought about 2+ years ago from OnePlus Official Store in Singapore, just out of warranty.

I heard/read many people claiming that this green/pink/white vertical line started to appear after software updates (and mine happened too - because we set to automatic update) and after these lines usually happened after their phones have passed warranty period (of 2 years)!

But but but, OnePlus declared openly that it will provide free unlimited replacement for green/pink lines to all OnePlus phones bought in India BUT rejected to provided same free unlimited replacement for green/pink lines to all OnePlus phones bought in Singapore!

Meanwhile, Samsung, Apple, and all other companies practised universal treatment without discrimination, i.e. if Singaporeans don't get it, all other countries will not get it!

So If OnePlus is not clearly practising blatant discrimination against Singaporeans, what is? You work for OnePlus (or Vivo, OPPO, or BBK Electronics)?
Seriously why are you wasting your time to make such comparisons when it's not going to make anything happen. Nothing is fair in this world. There are far more unfair things.

Trying to bring awareness to other Singaporeans so that they won't become another idiot that got chopped carrot head blindly by OnePlus (or OPPO, Vivo, RealMe) etc?

If people want to be negative, want to bury their heads in the sand, it's fine to me but they should stop trying to spread their negativity around that there is nothing they can do to unfair things blah blah blah... This is like saying if you born to a poor family (or a family where parents are illiterate), then they should remain poor (and illiterate) forever! :ROFLMAO:

Anyway, the world is always unfair, so I face it straight up, fight it, and got out of this smelling like roses, doubt negative people will ever be able to do that? 🤭

Things beyond your control, why bother about it. How the phone makers want to differentiate the markets is up to their individual strategy. You can't do anything about that. Born in poor family can still strive to improve life as you have access to education in Singapore. This is within your means. So your logic is flawed.

And to be honest, it makes more sense to compare between the different phones you can get in Singapore and get the best value of what is available.
