I still on the fence whether to just get a Nord or a Vivo, but this thread is making me lose confidence in the Nord. :s13:

what about the nord that u have no confidence in?

the crap warranty? or the other issues with the phone itself?

Yup...599 with 5 dollar voucher and some shopee coins after all was about 593 ba...if follow shop should have 10 dollar discount but miss out on that...below 600 for normal 1 year warranty considered ok...once I receive it will sell off my s20 ultra

Mostly the crap warranty and how they don't bother to address issues with the OP8 local set having issues with local transport.

So what phone u getting bro? Mi 10 pro? Op8? Or nord
Dunno yet. I hate MIUI so there is not a chance in hell I will get the Xiaomi. Currently I sort of shortlisted Vivo X50 Pro because I have a very good first impression of the phone after playing with it, Nord I still watching closely, hoping to see some positive changes in the OnePlus 8 thread.

Only thing holding me back on the X50 Pro is the price. Snapdragon 765 and $1k? Is the gimbal really worth that much?

That's quite a huge step down! But the Nord should do 80-90% of what the S20 Ultra can do for a lot less money.

$593 for a phone you can get almost immediately with a 1 year warranty probably is not too bad.

I paid $473 for 1 month warranty and still haven't got a word when the phone will be delivered :s13:

I wonder if the Nord is available for pickup at a physical store. For some reason Mobyshop don't have.

Mister Mobile may have it.

I have not cancelled my Q10's Nord is because I couldn't find any similarly spec-ed phone at the price I paid for. Briefly thought about the Pixel 4a but it is not an actual 'upgrade' from my current OP6.

Had I paid the full price for the Nord I think I will have a lot more to choose from but I am not sure if I can tolerate the OS skin and the slow updates from other manufacturers.

Actually the Vivo X50 Pro got few downsides other than the price. Even their OS is very lightly customized, not as terrible as OPPO's UI. Maybe they will drop the price in a month? For the Nord I'll just wait a bit first, not urgent as my Pixel 3 XL still fine.

True just hold on to it. Since u are holding p3xl, never consider pixel 4a? Size too small?

Oppo improved quite a bit already. I tried the find x2 pro, and the UI is acceptable for me. But still, oxygenOS is still the top among all android skin

I tried to like the X2 Pro, but I really cannot stomach the customizations. All over the place, trying too hard to copy MIUI. Pixel 4a is too small, I put it side by side the 3XL at Challenger, nope unacceptable for media consumption. Looking at websites already feel like I'm squinting.
