I prefer Nord bc of the bigger battery, better camera versatility, bigger storage and build quality. The closest thing atm is the Reno 4 which is another $150 with 4 less gb of ram, impractical curved screen, no OIS and a slightly inferior 720G which you can get from Redmi Note 9s for much cheaper.

The only advantage with Reno 4 pro is that it comes with SD card slot and headphone jack

what screen issues are there?

whats your review of it so far?

i heard india market got a 6 gb / 64 gb version.

Same issues as OP8, the green/pink tint on screens. & the black band at top part of screen. Affects about 15% of OP8 phones?

Think I remember reading bout the 6gb version being an Amazon India exclusive. Coming later this year.

Some thoughts that went through my mind playing wit the phone for 5+mins

1) Phone is light. Reminds me of Realme 6 Pro & Redmi Note 9 Pro.

2) 90hz is noticeable & nice but you adjust quickly back to 60. Like when you play game at 30 fps vs 60 fps.

3) I wasnt as impressed as when I played wit poco f2 pro & mi 10 pro at mi shop. Prolly because of the weight & build of the 2 flagships. :s13:

if it was a problem with OP8 then they should have rectified it by now before releasing nord?

so the only thing better about poco f2 pro & mi 10 pro compared to nord is the build?

OP is saying that its a "feature". :s13: Dont think they're really working to fix it.

I would suggest you watch videos on these phones to better understand their characterictics and in a sense have a feel of where they line up.

Like calling the 4a crap hardware. Thats hardly a fair evaluation. Google does great job making that phone work with the limitations it has.

The battery life compared to Nord is like 5% poorer. Camera is arguably better than Nord. Performance is also about 5-7% poorer than Nord except where Graphics Intensive apps are involved in which case the Nord GPU is like 15% faster.

This is totally worth it for $150 less.

the thing is the nord can be purchased around the same price as the 4a just lacking of a 1 year warranty

If you buy from one of the more reputable importers, you do get your one year warranty, just that you have to send back to the shop & they ship back to China, yadee yadaa... 3 mths... :s13:

Maybe this is the win win?

Using OnePlus 6 for close to 2 years now and the battery has started to show its age. Thinking to either replace the battery for $60 or buy a Nord instead.

I am not very concerned on the performance of SD 845 vs 765G as I do not game on my mobile phone. On day-to-day use I don't think there is any perceptible difference between the two. What matters more to me is the camera.

In that aspect, is the Nord worth an upgrade from OP6?

I remember I bought my OP3 from Qoo10 with 1 year warranty, after 9 months, the camera cannot focus. Send item back to seller and it returned after 3 weeks. Was mentally prepared not to receive the phone back :s13:
