lol depends what i wanna do with my phone.
mostly i use it to take photos, videos, messaging like sms/wechat/whatsapp, play games and watch movies

initially getting opo was cos of its specs, big screen and low price. i am even willing to try out cm 11s and play ard with it. but the many issues i see here from users is putting me off.

i am kind of a perfectionist. when i get sth i want sth that works without issue. i dont wanna fret over it.

then you better don't use Android lol, all manufacturers have their own fair share of issues. Even iPhone QC is not perfect as well when you see scratches or dents out of the box. Nothing is perfect in this world especially for phones where production vol is so high

My set also got slight pee at the bottom. I'm not anal enough to bother with it.

My only beef with the phone is still the software bugs in the current CM11s software.
- Wifi Settings FC with certain themes. Fixed in latest nightlies
- Google Play services wakelocks. Fixed in latest nightlies
- Sensitive gestures and double tap to wake in pocket. Roundabout fix mentioned by using proximity sensor to disable gestures in pocket.
- Autorotation doesn't work if you rotate the phone very slowly. Will be fixed in next OTA.
- Microphone / OK Google not working at arm's length. Mentioned will be fixed in next OTA.

Currently I don't want to flash the nightlies because then I need to hack in the special lockscreen and other OPO specific apps like the theme store.

Other then the ones I mentioned above, the OPO is still stable enough to serve as my daily driver. Can't wait for the next OTA rumored to come out in next 2 weeks.

When open gallery and select a photo and select cast, gallery will FC. The cast feature never work on my Sony Smart TV althhuh it detect my TV.

Coming from find 7, im quite disappointed with the camera performance, not the hardware but the software itself. I thought it would be the same since using same sensor. The CM camera app performance is slow compared to colorOS camera app. Touch to focus is slower and the image quality is not as good too. They should have a 2s focus duration, currently 5s is the fastest...because after focusing on an object, the focus circle would still be there idling..

your set got yellow tint what....just that you choose to out of sight out of mind.

My G.Nexus last time also yellow tint mah(Samsung, not only OPO)..

Doesnt bother me alot also, at least now when reading news at night on my bed without the lights, my eyes not so siong..

Software wise, no issue..Of cos vanilla would be better but wont come with as much feature as cyanogenmod..

sorry but for their production volume, the amount of sets with qc problems is unusually high. Yes, other phone models have their fair share of problems but the ratio is definitely not as bad. Yellow hue and band are considered small problems, wait till u see those users who end up with sets that come with unresponsive touch screen, defective accelerometer and even dented bezels.

The worst thing is that you cant just exchange for a new set at the shop or send it for repairs in a service center. RMA-ing a defective OPO set is a biTCH.
