Just to clarify, I never said that it WILL brick the phone, I've just said that no one selling the Chinese version has offered to flash the modem patch, because there is a risk of bricking the phone, especially if new to flashing. You can go check out Lazada or Qoo10 and what they offer is only a reflash of the CM rom. Maybe you can ask the sellers why they don't want to offer this flashing service in addition to flashing the rom?

As the mods mentioned, this is for information purposes, so I'm just informing possible buyers of the differences you get for the different versions.

just VERY curious as i've NEVER seen anyone bricking from flashing the modem or CM11S so far yet. Any source where your HIGH chance of bricking coming from :s11:

Company every year after deducting medical benefit selection would have $500+ for such stuff..Then previous workyear those mc money left over would be transfer to this claimable acct later..So effectively i have 800-900 to claim for this workyear..

So might as well..

If I go China often, and want to roam on China Mobile (4g), should I get the China version and flash to CM11 instead of the international version?
To use the TD-LTE ?

Hardly ever go US.

Since its china version, anything happen can go china and rma? But i think the different is only ColourOS and CM11s?

Country Don matter. It's which OS suit u better.
