Hi guys,

Sorry if this has been asked...scrolled back a few pages but didn't see an answer.

How can I get a OnePlus One 64GB black in Singapore? I see some for sale on qoo10 and lazada for slightly over $500, which is a price I'm willing to pay. Are these legit?

Qoo10 - OnePlus One 5.5 FHD 3GB RAM 64GB 2.5GHz Quad Core 4G LTE Unlocked Phon... : Smartphone / Tab...
(EXPORT) Oneplus One A0001 64GB Sandstone Black ColorOS | Lazada Singapore

Just don't wanna be scammed.

Thanks!

They are legit OPO just not the international sets.
They are China sets which comes with ColorOS ROM by default whereas the internationals sets comes with CM11S ROM.

I would recommend getting from a local retailer like adix82 to be on the safe side to protect yourself from DOA/OOB defects since you can reject the set if you found any on the spot at the shop. The pricing is around the same as the link you posted, the most recent facebook post by adix82 on 12 December shows that the OPO 64GB version is selling for $540. If I am not wrong they will flash the phone to CM11S upon request.

Thanks. I'm not familiar with adix82, do you have a link to his/her facebook page, email address or number?

Also, are there any hardware differences between the international vs China sets, e.g. different 3G/LTE bands?

Lastly, now that CM and OnePlus relations have soured, won't there be issues with OTA updates in the future if it's flashed to CM11S? Would staying with ColorOS be better in terms of future updates?

Thanks.

Simple google/facebook search should be able to find his page, scared of infraction for referral. :s13:
You should be able to PM him since he is a user on HWZ as well.

For hardware difference, refer to:

CM have some sort of contract with OnePlus to provide software support for the OPO for a period of 24 months from the time of launch which is Q2 of 2014 IIRC.

As of ColorOS I cannot really comment since I have no knowledge/experience with it. You will have to wait for actual OPO owners to comment. Yep, I do not own a OPO. :s22:

Finally CM team is too expensive to maintain.

Time for OPO to get their very own OS :D

Bye CM.
