Cos Chinese OPO only LTE Band 1,3,7 in which non is use by the telcos in USA..3G would work thou..

i usually do the noob way. i bring my redmi go there change to that country data card.. for aust i did that too. then use le..

Go there use 3G also no issue(USA)..You can google for the bands different country uses if you're a frequent traveller..

Global OPO:
GSM: 850, 900, 1800, 1900MHz
WCDMA: Bands: 1/2/4/5/8
LTE: Bands: 1/3/4/7/17/38/40

Chinese OPO:
GSM：850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
TD-SCDMA：1880-1920 / 2010-2025
WCDMA*：2100 / 1900 / 850 / 900(Band 1, 2, 5, 8)
TD-LTE：2570-2620 / 1880-1920 / 2300-2400
FDD-LTE*：2100 / 1800 / 2600(Band 3, 1, 7)
