Anyone else facing the pinch zoom issue? I am on 38r. My phone goes bananas when I try to zoom. Restarting fixes issue but only temporarily. Hopefully it is not a hardware issue.

Had it few days ago. Cleared caches, rebooted and it didn't happen again.

okok thanks i got try using samsung charger but still slow :( i on 38R
What colour is your Samsung charger and is the cable fixed or USB?

OnePlus and Samsung White with USB chargers are output 2Amps (A)

iPad is 2.1A

Samsung Black with fixed cable is 0.7A

iPhone is 1.0A

Larger output Amps faster charge but battery lifespan also faster wearout and cannot hold charge. Slow charge, low Amps battery can lifespan can last longer.

It's actually a combination of hardware and software. If you have an unlocked bootloader, you can flash franco's kernel which has new touch drivers for the panel.

My phone also had this problem so I flashed the custom kernel which almost eliminated the problem to around 98%. So far no crazy pinch zoom problems or ghost touching when typing... but if use an app like multitouch, anything more than 7 fingers will make the app go crazy. But I guess that's ok since no way you going to use 10 fingers on the screen at once.

In anycase, the next OTA should fix your problem if you can wait. There have been a couple of touch driver updates since 38R which reduces the problem further to almost non existent for most phones. YMMV.

Try replacing your cable with a good quality one, like those that come with WD or Seagate portable HDD. Not those cheap ones from ah beng shop. Or use the original OnePlus USB cable.
