Not sure anyone replied you already but I went to check also since I had badges on my htc one m7 before and it didn't show up in my one plus. This is from the one plus forum.
I have nova launcher installed on my other phone (304sh) and verifies that you can get badges with Tesla badge app

"that actually has to do with specific skinned versions of android, Stock android which Cyanogen Mod is based off doesn't have pop up notifications on the badges themselves, only on the notification bar. If you want that you can download Nova Launcher to give you that functionality. Nothing is wrong with your OPO. Other apps on the google play store can also give you that functionalit"

Would like to know this phone compared with Sony Z3 and Note 4. what are the pros and cons? i had checked out reviews from different websites but did not end up with a conclusion on purchasing.

I was in the same position Had used the original Z and whole of Note lineup till Note 3 and S5 Prime. In the end I got the Z3 as stinktel don't carry OPO. But i've just sent it in to service centre today as there's a gap on the left of the LCD. QC of Z3 not so good.

Value for $ - OPO > Z3 > Note 4. This is one of the most impt pros of the OPO.
Water/Dust Resistant - Sony Z3
Audio - Sony Z3
Spec wise - Note 4 > Sony Z3/OPO
ROM support - OPO > Z3 > Note 4. Touchwiz cmi.
Battery life - Note 4 (87hr) > Z3 (85hr) > OPO (66hr) (taken from gsmarena since I don't have all the phones so can't test)

Do u really use S-Pen? if u do, not much choice there except for Note 4. Have u tried cyanogen mod? get OPO if you like CM.

Really? Nova launcher works well on my second android phone and the battery life is excellent. Especially standby Time. I didn't put it on the OnePlus cause I liked the CyanogenMod experience

That one, u have to wait liao. Unless u want to try CyanogenMod 12 nightly build. Heard that is out liao. Or else wait for opo official rom. Heard won't be cyanogen liao and also don't know when . U got nexus 5 liao right? Can already experience it

Yah opo is really a solid phone for a china phone. The same unfortunately cannot be said for their marketing and sales strategies though. Are u also considering the nexus 6 btw? :0

nope, I am not considering n6 at all.

reasons being the price is too high for a phone that doesn't give me local warranty.

if anything happens gotta send it halfway around the world, so nope, not worth the price.

One plus also have to send halfway around the world mah. Though it's much cheaper lah. I think N6 wait for second hand set. Now ready really crazy price. Same with Ooo, initially a lot of craziness and hype. Now invites readily available, everything much more reasonable now :0

the pricing is too different lolx

I can buy two opo sets and have change man..

maybe next time, but currently I'm still happy with opo, no hurry lol

understand that SLS upper levels have, but what kind of casing do they carry?

I'm currently using a clear tpu with like matte back surface that I bought from adix82.. thinking of changing into another type..

what's everyone here using?
