Source ? Haven't heard any news about this being a 2.4 Ghz only phone.

So far I've only read that Wi-Fi is a single stream AC capable solution but advertised only as b/g/n on OnePlus site.

The WiFi is strange in that it's advertised as WCN3680, which should be a single spatial stream 802.11ac implementation, but OnePlus only advertises support for 2.4GHz 802.11b/g/n.

what does 2.4ghz wifi means?

It means slower and more congested Wi-Fi.
5ghz allows you to connect to higher data rate.
For example, using 5ghz AC on my iPhone 6S. I hit around 480mbps on speed test. That's why once you go 5ghz. You can't go back to 2.4ghz :(

Provided you have a internet access to overseas at that speed which is unlikely. Unless you only surf local servers.

Not bad the OnePlus X for the price of US$249 which is close to SGD$350, still don't know whether will it come Singapore or not. Most YouTube review are in black, if you guys want to see the white, it here: https://m.facebook.com/ibuygou/phot...446146141./1065676876810483/?type=3&source=42 and https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/one-plus-x-white-gold.395566/page-2

There will be 3 colors option available:
1. Onyx Black Version
2. White Gold Version
3. Ceramic Limited edition (ONLY 10000 units)
