Heh heh... my Moto X 2013 & 2014 already cover design and vanilla android already. I was hoping for a combination of the 2 to have 1 single compact powerhouse with SD card slot. Z5 is too expensive and I would have lose my beloved AMOLED screen.

My Moto X 2014 has the exact same SD801 as 1+X so performance isn't going to be an issue. Not to mention 1+X has even more breathing room with 3gb ram and slightly higher battery cap.

Unless one truly desires 64-bit SoC like 808, 32-bit 801 is going to more than enough for the general usage.

btw, do you have any phone running the same gpu as oneplus x? any idea how well hearthstone runs on it? :) Thanks! yep, agreed with you, feel like getting a spare phone, for general usage, cause I run most of my stuff on my 6S!

Moto X 2014 has the same GPU (Adreno 330) but I don't play the game so not sure. I can only share with you that my Antutu scores is 46518, just behind Note 4 (48622) in ranking. S6 scores 68462

Throughput wise, it will always be faster. Regardless of oversea or local.
Besides, 5ghz is gradually becoming the norm now, you can't justify anything to omit it out. If you just want to do self consolation, save it for yourself. End of the day, there's always a significant difference between 2.4 and 5ghz.
Wireless congestion on 2.4ghz, you do a scan now on 2.4, tell me how many signals can you pick up. Do a local speed test, tell me how much you can get? Lol

Sure is does make a significant difference. But you need to consider the fact that 5Ghz coverage is not as wide as 2.4Ghz.

To be honest, i don't see why you make such a big deal that its like a MUST for a MOBILE PHONE to have 5Ghz.

at the end of the day, you are just using it to whatsapp, play mobile games & emailing.

Then they will start complaining, how come when i'm connected to 5Ghz, my battery life sucks like crazy.

There are reports out there stating 5Ghz actually require more power to transmit data.

And seriously, rather lose bluetooth for 5Ghz? some people just don't use their common sense.

Without bluetooth? what happen?

No bluetooth headset for driving
No bluetooth sharing
No bluetooth to pair external keyboard or mouse
No bluetooth to pair a game controller.

Now without 5Ghz what will happen? you still have wireless, OK speed, not a big deal, u still able to accomplish the usual task like whatsapp (heck lor, i ever use 2G on it and i still get my messages kind of instantly), emails, gaming, streaming of 1080P videos on my phone.

Actually I'm quite concerned whether there's a compass device in the phone. It's not listed in the one plus website but then again, it was not listed in the one plus two but they do have it.

Check out the first hands video on from China, sadly the White Gold is exclusive to China market as of now with hydrogen OS, no google services (Android version 5.1.1, OS build 2.2.1) with either 16GB with 2GB RAM or 16GB with 3GB RAM.

Global version is in Black or the 10K limited edition ceramic with Oxygen OS (Android version 5.1.1, OS build 2.2.1) with default 16GB with 3GB RAM.

White Gold or Black? Haha!

I don't see the 32GB anywhere in the video. Are there any links to it?

Why only black for international market? China get to choose white gold or black.
