online harassment and bullying

So i came across this thread earlier about someone being harassed,

so yeah fine i thought, since mod said dealt with.

but as i was browsing the forums i came across the harasser's posts, but somehow he's not banned? why? was there anything done to address the constant harassment or to punish the user?

as a victim of constant online harassment/bullying, i have received pms "wishing my family the best of health", stalking, openly defamation of my character claiming that i work for a foreign organisation with no evidence whatsoever, i take this seriously.

why the different outcome for people who harassed me and was banned but not this user.

if the harasser is not punish are admins/mods telling me we can openly taunt or target anyone for online abuse freely?

oh my cases are dealt with and a thing of the past. thank you, and thanks to good moderation.

the point i'm trying to bring across is online harassment is serious and may bring distress to the user. but if we are not the victim we may not be able to comprehend.

so now i see a case of online harassment but somehow not dealt with, leaves me with extreme distaste.

We are aware of online harassment and stuff like that.

If he does that again then it will be a longer ban.
