OOC in BMT: Post Out question

Hi guys I have a few questions to ask. Hopefully some kind souls would help me out here.

I had a finger fracture around mid December last year (due to SOC). I was send out from tekong to CGH and I have been on mc ever since (stay home/attend c). As you guys know the current batch have already pop the week before. My original mc was until the 26/12 but CGH extended it till 15/1. When I went back to CGH around 2 weeks ago. The doctor noted that I was recoverying well and further extended it to 12/2 to aid in my recovery progress.

I have already endorsed all my MCs (up till 12/2) in the medical center in tekong and have taken all my belongings back home. And my next CGH appoint ment is on 12/2.

I managed to complete high key events such as live firing and field camp before I got the injury. However when I went to endorse my mc in tekong, the MO gave me the OOC and down pes (to B2)form to fill in. He told me that I would have to wait for the medical board review and suggested that I down pes. So I handed the form to my PC and went home after that.

My questions now are:

1) Even though my PC said I won't OOC due to the fact I completed all high keys, I still wanna ask if I will actually OOC?

2) I didn't receive any BMTC ePosting. "Sorry, your name is not found in ePosting Order database. Please contact HQ BMTC at 65100006 or 65100007 during office hours for clarification."

So do I just call HQ BMTC to ask for clarification on my posting? Because it seems like I'm not under any unit now since my coy have already POP-ed. Do I wait for a mail or something in order to find out where I'm posted to?

3) I have already endorsed all my MCs in tekong up till 12/2. So technically I'm not considered AWOL right? I do not want to get charged.

If you have completed at least 2 out of the 3 criterion, you shouldn't be OOCed; that is live firing, IPPT and field camp. However for attendance wise, you have missed quite a fair bit. It can be very subjective for your company to not pass you for BMT on the pretext that you have missed other essential training as well.
Training like route march, SOC and arms training are part of the essentials of range course. If the commanders feel that you have missed quite a fair bit to at least pass your for BMT, they may just OOC you.

Secondly, I believe you mentioned you are in the process of downpes to B2. It could be that's why you did not receive any eposting. Apart from that, it may be that you were OOCed, best is to check back with your company.

Thirdly, nope, since you already endorsed your MC, it's not considered AWOL. So rest assured.

I tried calling my coy line, the COS who picked up wasn't too sure of my situation. He advised me to ask my PC/PS. And when I ask them I don't get a definite answer regarding my posting. So what should I do?

I tried calling BMTC HQ @ 65100007 to ask about my posting and the guy told me to call back tomorrow as the people who could help me check on that are on half-day.

Does that mean I have to wait for the medical board review first before I get any posting? If so how long does it take and how will I be informed? I've heard from my friends it could take a few months.

I suggest you call up HQ BMTC to ask. They will know the date of your temp PES review. Your posting is decided by CPC and should be delivered either to your coy or your home.
The time where you will get your posting varies, usually within 3 weeks from the day you submit the OOC form. I waited 5 weeks for mine.

Just stay at home and enjoy your MC. If you really down PES to PES B2 I don't think will need to recourse, but this is all up to your commanders and HQ to decide.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I submitted my OOC form on the 26/12. It has been around 3 weeks now, close to 4. From what you say, I think I should be getting my posting soon.. But yeah I'll call HQ BMTC tomorrow to clarify.

Btw, from what I know CPC is some control personnel centre that deals with tekong postings right? Hopefully the chief clerk there is kind to me..
