No, individual can sign up as well. Just that, there are many components that make up the final price. I read from here, never seen an actual bill before.

Just check your meter readings to verify.

If this is an estimated consumption, wait for next month's bill.

I think you are thinking about wholesale stuffs at the market. :s13:

Thats one of the reason why I have not switched from SP, they can give you low rate but the meter reading is jacked up monthly and I am kinda lazy to check the meter reading every month.

I am not saying u will consume more just because it is cheaper.. i am saying aircon need to use more electricity to cool down the room during hotter month even though u turn on exactly the same number of hours.. perhaps those 5 stars compressor will be less affected.. :o

The fact is the meter does measure this amount of usage.. hard to identify how much kwh each electrical devices use..

I'm comparing SP bill since July 2018 to May 2019 and keppel from May 2019 to July 2019. Comparing month on month the consumption went up by 50kwh at least. I'm using keppel

If the bill unlimited or free, very likely I will turn on the aircon 24hrs. We don't consume more just before it is cheaper.

Meter readings are still taken by SP.

Good to know that, thanks for the update. Regardless of which company I sign up with, its still taken by SP?

Have decided on Tuas Power, but seems like not much promotion like some reviewers had mentioned

1. NTUC linkpoints rebate for every 8kw
2. UOB cards also no more 5% rebate, only shown POSB Everyday card for 1%

Yes, regardless of which retailer you choose to sign up with.

Paying your SP bills using UOB One card still earns rebate, in fact it's up to 6%. Of course, T&Cs apply.

You are not aware that retailers use SP readings. They are still taken by SP.
For those that change their electrical meters, it's taken remotely.

Yes, regardless of which retailer you go with, meter reading is still done by SP on bi-monthly basis. On months that readings are estimated, it will eventually be even out on the following month, regardless of over or under estimation.
