My wife stayed over all the time when she was still my girlfriend.

Bed was rather cramped though, size being a single.
One can sleep on the bed and the other on the floor :(

Hi all

I ever watched Taiwanese TV drama and there are one scene a guy bring his girlfriend to his parent's house and they both sleep in same bedroom. The parent also living in the house and they allowed it.

Would Singaporean parent allowed their son or daughter do like this ?

Thank
Society ish changing. After we adapt to their culture. Scully whole family squeeze into one room who noes? Small Spaces always pushing peepur to use less space.

Guy has GF sleepover at his house & room, quite normal. Father will secretly gives thumbs up, mother will say use precaution.

Girl has BF sleepover at her place/room, a bit more difficult. Mothers maybe tell daughter to avoid being taken advantage of. Fathers will straightaway want to kill the boyfriend...
This is really true!

What is the reason behind this question? You want to bring gf home?

My landlord daughter always bring BF home, and they sleep together on their tiny sofa in the living room. Both entangled together in one hot steamy pile, for everyone who passes by the living room to see. The landlord is devout christian and very furious, but cannot win against her daughter.
Bring her to church. They can cure her :(

The Other Half had an access card + a main gate key for a couple of years before she got pregnant with our elder kid and we got married, and then moved out to our own BTO.

Yes, in that order :s34:

TS is foreigner ah? you can just ask your parents whether they allow such visits with a hypothetical scenario....
anyway to answer the question i think most SG households are more open than you think...

i've had 3 girlfriends before i got married that asked me to sleep over at their parents place in their rooms before....
2 of them i had long stints staying over.... stretching to months...
all of them were local SG girls...

Many people open minded one la. Last time I still remember NSF time, got 1 guy 19 already married and kid 2 years old. He ride bike, everyday can book out because married and he was trying to sign on. He said the kid the parents look after because the wife is still studying. Also like that live.

By the time he is 40 his kid already 23.

Mother devout Christian, you think the daughter can stay out of church meh? Apparently she was forced to go every week when she was younger. Now old enough that her mother can no longer control her, so stopped going.
