I am planning to buy the singapore savings bonds when it is released. However, an individual Central Depository (CDP) Securities account is required, which I do not have.
Therefore, i need to open an account. From I know, there are 2 main methods - going to CDP Customer Service Centre personally (which is rather far) or to open a trading and securities accounts together at a broker (i am not interested in investing in stocks or tradable bonds etc though).
Any advice on the more convenient method? And are there any fees in account opening?
Thanks in advance!
