Anyone try or use the following accounting software ?
1. Gnucash
2. LedgerSMB
Which is more suitable for accounting agencies supporting SME ?

I am looking for some good opensource accounting tools as well. especially if it can be on cloud and supports multiple user to log in.

Better to use off the shelf accounting software that supports GST reporting in singapore. Much simplier & convenience.

Tried installing LedgerSMB on Windows XP and couldn't get it to work. There is no Windows installer. Go figure. :s8: There is zero Windows support.

I will try Gnucash with MYSQL on Win XP. Wish me luck. :D

I am also looking for alternative accounting s/w

using NCH Accounting, its pretty OK but the support is horrible or non-existant.
Tried emailing them so many times but got NO answer, but keep getting email promos from them. Updates should be free but they keep charging US 50- Its like using opensource s/w without support.

Its simple account s/w i m looking for, no frills.. simple invoice and GST. able to print invoice/delivery order and record them for future reference.

i use wave accounting. Free SAAS for account key takeaway for me is that they are linked to XE.com for daily exchange rates which saves me hell lot of time since I dealing with foreign currency everyday
