I'm helping my friend to build a gaming PC and this are what we come up with:

We might change the MB as there are some issues pairing up with R5-3600.
Any better recommendation with MB and overall build?
Make sure the MSI B450 mobo you get comes with a MAX behind, if the shop you buying from giving you the normal version without MAX they are using you to clear old stock that people don't want (price difference for normal and MAX version is probably $5 sometimes same price). Better blacklist the shop.
I suggest getting MSI B450 Mortar Max or Tomahawk MAX.
MSI B450 Pro Carbon AC is good as it eliminates the need for wifi adapter, but there is no MAX version (bigger size BIOS chip) for this yet.
There's also other options such as powerline adapters and generic usb wifi dongles. My friend bought a generic ac1200 usb wifi adapter for $15 and gets 50mbps dl speed from his 500mbps internet, stability seems ok as haven't heard complaints from him for gaming. Obviously 50mbps dl speed for installing games in 2020 is slow, but you only need to install games one time and don't really need more speed for streaming netflix or gaming (I think 10-20 mbps is sufficient for these uses).
You can most likely get 3200mhz cl16 ram for the same price as 3000mhz cl16 ram at most places. Get the 3200mhz cl16 ram instead because it's better. If the shop you buying from don't offer you the better 3200mhz cl16 ram, go buy from somewhere else. Again, the seller is using you to clear stocks. The seller will likely magically appear with 3200mhz cl16 ram for the same price once you bring up buying the ram from elsewhere, if not then seriously just buy the ram from elsewhere.
Skip the NZXT Kraken M22 (3 years warranty) if you want an AIO cooler just for aesthetics, you can get a cheap 240mm ID-Cooling or other brands AIO (probably can get for $80 or lower). Usually 120mm AIOs not worth it, try to go for 240mm AIO if possible as price difference usually isn't big. NXZT X52 (240mm)/X62 (280mm) are very good AIOs with 6 years warranty and good customer service but the price also reflects the premium quality, you get what you pay for.
Otherwise a $29-$39 120mm fan tower style CPU air cooler with 3-4 heatpipes is really good enough. Eg. Deepcool Gammaxx 400 GTE (aesthetics quite decent as well).
Also skip the Corsair TX PSU (depending on the price they give you) 5 years warranty. From what I see on lazada, Corsair TX 650W 5 years warranty $139 (pcthemes) and Corsair TX-M 650W 7 years warranty $145 (Dynacore and Laser). There's no point buying the Corsair TX 650W with 5 years warranty unless they're selling it to you WAY cheaper than the 7 years warranty Corsair TX-M. Beware of shops that offer you Corsair TX that's not discounted heavily, those will be trying to use you to clear stock and chop your carrot head as well.
I would consider topping up some more to get one of those 10 years warranty 650w/750w PSUs though (I think you can get them as cheap as $170, eg. seasonic focus gx 750 or corsair RM 650 series).
PC case is mostly personal preference. If you want good airflow go for mesh front PC cases. If you want to go budget can look at tecware cases as they're significantly cheaper (obviously there will be a difference in quality but still useable). Tempered-Glass tecware full ATX cases $55-60, with mesh front $70?
Phanteks P400A is also good.
ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro is one of the better price/performance value nvme drives out there, keep it.
RX 5700 XT is also good, keep it. Every brand will sell premium and budget series for the same model of GPU. MSI Gaming X (premium series for their RX 5700 XT) is ok, don't go for MSI's budget series.
If want to go for budget series RX 5700 XT go for PowerColor Red Dragon or Sapphire Pulse.
