I think for just taipei 6d5n just nice 8d7n abit long, 8d7n can go seoul lol. Unfortunately, SO only wanna go 5d4n. Sad.

I will not wanna check with driver anymore but will advise you to reduce to lesser days with driver as shared with fellow forum users.
Driver will be happy to host you every day as long as you pay.

I think the thing with such itinerary is that, most likely its the client who ask for "to see as many things in tw as possible within x time frame". So the driver came up with that, probably because it has been done before.

However, what he probably didn't mention is that almost everything that's scenic will likely to be a touch and go. Because you are spending most of your time travelling in the car, heading to your next accommodation on most days. Most scenic places he just stop by and you take selfie or wefie, linger like 5-10min, he will probably explain a bit why this place is popular with tourists, etc, and you'll have to be back in the car and continue to the next destination.

Agree, driver opinion may not be the best. Driver will be happy if he drive long distance, so can charge more.

Like that better join tour, see a lot but time spend on location is limited, don't need to worry for hotel and other things.
