Oppo Find N2 | Find N2 Flip

Suggest u go for Find N2 or wait for Pixel Fold. As an OG Fold user, I have tried Fold 3 and Flip 3. Got rid of them all. Fold 4, I try fold the hinge once and hated it. Still using my OG Fold 1. But now I am happy on Oppo Find N2 and Vivo X Flip.

For me. Was using Fold 3 till it die on me. Had it since 28Nov2021.
Screen peeling, wifi spoil, external screen spoil, then internal screen spoil... It get bad to worse as days goes by. now kept back in box. . Got a Oppo Find X6 Pro as my Fold 3 replacement and never look back...

CN Rom does not support Android Auto. All CN Roms for any android phone has this issue. Unless you flash a "Global" Rom, else won't work. But issue with Find N2 has no global rom nor anyone that "made" a global rom, don't think able to make it work.

Thought the Sg version of N2 Flip is a global Rom.

好贱....regular fast charging like prolink or xiaomi despite have 67w or higher doesn't work with oppo find n2.

Is going oppo charger the only way to get 67 fast charge ?

For those using find n2 fold and having Google map issue where the search information cover more than half the screen.

Look for a app , Control Screen Rotation. Set it to auto set , it will work perfectly when using portrait mode.

And for Gboard to have spit mode....need to opt in beta

Just wanna share my experience: With over 10years on iOS, in between an attempt with Samsung S series lasted me a week where I got frustrated with the UI, I've got to say im impressed by Oppo's Find N2 - despite being a china rom and the inability to do my WA transfer. It's been a good month plus and the interface gestures are similar making the cross over pretty smooth. Can't say the same for my spouse Z5 flip, either for lack of time to find out how to get the short cuts to be same. But to focus on the Oppo Fold.
Its probably a cheaper alternative for me venturing back to android than the pixel fold's price which feels like a big jump and their chipset.
The Oppo is probably bang for buck. 16/512 spec feels pretty niffy and ok. I've not placed any banking apps or Singpass, those stay on my iOS for now. Even WA is loged in direct in iOS while android is logged in device. This helps me keep my chat history. (I've done several resets and do not wish to attempt again)

The only thing that I've noticed being considerably slower is how the android takes to search an application using the same pull down to search function vs the iOS. Not sure if it's the Oppo system or what.

• G-pay works nice and well as default payment

Of course the only downside is probably the crap resale value this has regardless its 1mth or 6mths old.

I am using Oppo Find n2 and Moto Razr 40 Ultra. They all have their Pros and Cons.

Samsung is arguably the most optimised foldable UI. But they are now on their 5th generation foldable and they worked extensively with Google to force Google to do a foldable focused Android update regularly moving forward. Samsung has to release foldables every year in return for Google's commitment.

I am not a fan of Samsung for their lack of innovation. In Flip phone space, Moto Razr 40 Ultra has an even bigger outer screen compared to Z Flip 5, allow native use of apps on outer screen (Since 1st Razr) unlike Z Flip 5 need to use Good Lock experimental features to force apps use on outer screen, Moto Razr 40 Ultra also has ReadyFor which is Moto's equivalent of Samsung Dex while Z Flip series do not support Dex as it will make the Z Flips hot and run out of battery quickly.

In fold space, I just find it baffling that after 5 generations of foldables, Samsung still cannot get app developers to get their act together to support their long screen aspect ratio. If it is so hard to do that, I rather stick with Oppo Find N2 traditional screen aspect ratio. On the outer screen, my apps all run well as it is like regular slate phones. Inside screen, I can open 2 apps side by side and is just like I have a phone with 2 screens. All applications play nice.
