Me was using China Oppo Phone for few years already. My previous few phones was China Oppo Phone. (realme GT Neo 5, Oppo Find X6 Pro and Oppo Find X8 Ultra).
Not much issues on GMS. But you just need to understand some cons...

1) No Google Opinion rewards. Due to location settings.(Missed all the free $$ from Google)
2) Not much as a con to me, but maybe to others, the Ai is very china centric. But good things is that you have 小布, which I missed it deeply.

notifications delayed if i recall correctly.

resale value.. i have seen china set put on carousell stuck for many weeks.. and most shops don't take in export set.

At least not for me.. did not encounter any notification delayed.

Yes. Export set hard to sell. Therefore I am still keeping all my old Oppo phones....

I've experienced some static sounds when using sennheiser true wireless with oppo phones since x6 pro days. and now also the same with my n6.

in between when I was using xiaomi 15 ultra, honor magic v5, not that obvious.

if you're referring to Sound effects, it's set at OReality and there are 4 sound profiles which I can't disable any... doesn't look like EQ settings to me

I think there's one which is at "Neutral" or something like that.. I cant remember the exact name. Later when I get my hands on X9U then I see.

Go to bluetooth > your device > info > Media audio

Is your earbuds set to HD or Standard?
If your earbud support "aptX Adaptive:, set to this

I remember I used to set it to Music or Movie. Never on the smart because I think it's not really that smart.

your headphone has to support it, if I recall correctly only a handful on market supports, Bose, B&O - these also limit your future phones to Qualcomm Snapdragon otherwise won't support.
