Very sianz..watching netflix on N6..two black bar top & bottom so big
Maybe too new.
Have to wait for Netflix to enhanced it.
Foldables (book-style ones) have a
more square screen when opened, roughly around
4:3 or 5:4.
But movies and shows are usually filmed in:
- 16:9 (standard TV)
- 21:9 / 2.35:1 (cinematic widescreen)
So when Netflix plays a wide movie on a squarer screen, it keeps the original shape, and fills the extra space with
black bars at the top and bottom. This is called
letterboxing.
You can use
zoom-to-fill gesture but it cuts off sides of the video hence losing details.
If you want foldable without "letterboxing", can wait for the rumored Galaxy ZFold 8 Wide.
