Drive i not so sure.

unfortunately, my work requires these Google apps quite extensively - Drive, Meet, Authenticator, etc. other than just Gmail.

and it is really silly to use the onboard browser to login to use Gmail.

so back to my question - how stable/smooth is Find X2 Pro?

I really feel like getting this phone as I'm not impressed with P40 Pro. but the brand worries me. how reliable is it? $1.6k is not cheap by any means... (still wish they come up with a lower storage option like 128 or 256...)

until HMS is stable, has all the apps I need, can possibly collaborate with Google apps like Gmail, Drive, etc, I'm sticking to my current P30 Pro... or might change to this (or maybe Sony's x1ii).

Ehhh I think China export set got 256? Not sure about 128. But then the price difference isn't really that substantial in comparison. And you gotta side load your GMS yourself.

Depends on how you define smooth tbh. iOS still tops my list for that regard. But in terms of day to day usage as well as gaming, this phone is quite a beast for me even with their own skin on top of android

Hardware wise sd865, ufs3.0, 12gb ram expect smooth performance

I understand u rely heavily on gms due to work commitments, but still, u wont know the next day oppo, xiaomi, oneplus or other oems are banned from google

That guy (assuming u know whom i am referring to) can do anything crazy and he is out of his mind one

If banned, current and past models will still work and be supported. It is future models that is not supported.

yah... that's why i'm also hesitant. wait no android updates and patches. which is why I also considering Xperia 1ii, although it is a downgrade for the camera (no 5x optical).

looks like will think through when all are released in the market by June and reviews are in.

Dont need worry la. Even if ban, find x2pro nt affected as wad ye_rongtian say, it affects phones released after the ban

I don't think the models sold in China comes with playstore. Most of the Chinese reviews that I watched the phones they were reviewing doesn't have playstore one so I think if you opt for a Chinese model then you gotta load GMS yourself.

Think of it like a OnePlus phone with hydrogen OS. Comes to us then shops or ourselves will flash oxygen OS

Clearing the google play store storage and cache didnt work. I factory reset and setup my own way and the device is now certified. Lesson learnt: never let the brand promotor setup the phone for you!

oh sorry, didn't read u mean models from China.

this one has international warranty so i'm not so worried. but no, i'll still prefer get from SG (or Malaysia) with Global ROM with playstore already installed. least worry...

if price difference between 256 and 512 not much, still can accept bah.

by the way, read also that the selfie camera is fixed focus. how does that affect the quality of selfies (especially sharpness)?
