If price cheaper at 1.6k, maybe can live with itBut X500 PM still have the big circle.
one glaring thing is the lack of official accessories from oppo sg itself but from what i understand from shopee live is they will come soon. otherwise, taobao is your best option. can buy official oppo case from there for like $20+I know the phone comes with a case but can anyone recommend a good quality hard case for the PM.
Prefer one that offer some protection. Not looking for those that have cutouts around volume rockers and ports. Must be full case.
Thanks in advance.
Not intending to go naked on this one![]()
Just to add on, I just did a phone speed test with my 2.5Gbps Simba broadband plan (on 1Gbps Asus GT-AX11000 Pro router). The speed is 1441/282 Mbps (download/upload). My wired computer can only get 800-900 Mbps on the speed test. So the phone network equipment is even better than my desktop computer.Tried out the FindX10PM for half a day. I think I did the right decision instead of choosing the Vivo. The photo quality is acceptable for me. The color accuracy is quite good. Vivo seems to give nicer color but not accurate. The battery seems to drop at faster rate than I expected (feeling only). The speaker is loud and clear enough for a normal user like me. The zoom is also good which I don't expect to carry extra zoom like the Vivo bundle. So I think it is definitely a good phone for average user. I think the UI is much better than the Vivo that I used to. No bloat wares. For unknown reason, I cannot start Shizuku for the wireless debugging. Hence, cannot start Canta nor NomoreBlackground, will try via the computer. Overall: great phone. [Order placed on 24/10; 9pm+, received 26/10; 9pm+]
yup china phones their hardware is pretty superior.. oppo is definitely the all rounder phone.. but for me i still prefer vivo china originos and their cameras/videos hahah..Just to add on, I just did a phone speed test with my 2.5Gbps Simba broadband plan (on 1Gbps Asus GT-AX11000 Pro router). is your ETH\NIC card on your PC 1gb\2.5gb\10gb?Just to add on, I just did a phone speed test with my 2.5Gbps Simba broadband plan (on 1Gbps Asus GT-AX11000 Pro router). My pc card is 2.5gb (Chinese Aliexpress). It can hit much higher if I disable router DNS filter & Skynet router firewall (on top of the standard UI version). So the cap isn't the pc card. I am quite surprised that the wireless phone can hit higher while the DNS filter & firewall are still on.is your ETH\NIC card on your PC 1gb\2.5gb\10gb?
that would explain why you cap at 800-900 on wire.
for network, bandwidth is not everything, the true king is latency where wired is always superior
I also like the Vivo "touched up" photos as I preferred phone to take nice photo regardless the actual scene. I was a fan of the Vivo phone for awhile already. Their free service fee and cheap battery replacement is also very attractive. However this time round their pricing is too aggressive. Though they give a free external lens but I don't think I would carry that around as I just the average user. No choice, I have to jump ship this time round and saved $685 which probably can get another V-series already. I don't want the China Rom due to Android auto/ slow notification issues. I am aware that there are setting tweaks that should resolve the issue. However, there are native Chinese app as well. Hence, I switched to the Oppo camp for the first time. The outcome of the photos are actually pretty good to me and the color accuracy is quite good. Vivo photo is nice/pretty but not always accurate. I also think the UI of the Oppo ColorOS is actually better/ friendlier than the Vivo one.yup china phones their hardware is pretty superior.. oppo is definitely the all rounder phone.. but for me i still prefer vivo china originos and their cameras/videos hahah..
u can get true to life photos with the latest settings in origin os7 liao.. its more flexible also if u wanna post process or just snap as it is.. i find the shutter speed /catching the moment no one can beat vivo yet.. no issues for android auto/notifications also and can debloat quite easily for things u dont use..yup their global rom pricing cannot la lol.. even china rom i also find it expensive.. oppo has come in the right time with the right price and specs.. i see more ppl adopting oppo x10pm vs x500 pro max for sure.. oppo color os is too aggressive in killing background apps (for global rom too) and they look too much like ios.. lol..still a good OS nonetheless..my vivo 12gb can open 30 apps 24 hours later the apps still doesnt refresh and my battery life not impacted.. thats what i love about vivo..I also like the Vivo "touched up" photos as I preferred phone to take nice photo regardless the actual scene. Damn chio! How’s the X10 Pro Max?
Official price of X10 Pro Max is $2199. Preorder period ends today. During preorder, price is $1849. Now with Shopee live voucher, you can get at $1619. So after today, even if you get the 20% voucher, you can only get the price down to $1759. Unless oppo is giving shop voucher. If not, it's not possible to be better than preorder price. You can probably only get back to launch price maybe 3 to 4 months later at least.so not even 11.11 price possible to beat the current lauching price?
