I wonder if they have improved the audio quality as it was one of the issues of last year's phone when it comes to bass. The video quality during night was also another concern. If they improve these 2, this phone could be the most all-rounded phone.

Aussie their Telco offers very attractive one.. u can breakoff after 3 months the phone is way less than rrp.. for eg during launch my fren bought her fold 8 total cost only 1.1k sgd base model.. cannot compare lol..

Aussie price crazy high. Oppo usually no telco offer as it is not popular and relatively unknown. Samsung always got retailer/telco offer. I got my fold 8 512gb for effectively 1400 Aud. (After $300 retailer gift gard and TRS)

There is an offer now for people to sign up (and cancel telco plan) for Pixel 11 pro xl 256gb for about 1160Aud. If claim TRS then effectively under 1K Aud.

On the other hand, other Chinese brands no such offers. Still cheaper i reckon to buy Oppo and other chinese brands in Singapore. I did for x9 pro and will wait to see what SG price will be along with its launch offer.

Jialat because gahmen here suck up to US leh. But Xiaomi priced more reasonably 17U cost 1799 AUD or 1600SGD.

Edit: china variant risky for Aus, might get blocked since our telcos are stupid
