How’s it? For those who hooted, how was it?
i got the lunar white x10pm to contrast against my night sky duo.

so far my biggest take aways

- color os 17 is really awesome...smoothest **** yet.
- the camera seems more responsive and i tested the macro as well. focus distance closer than x9u for sure
- the screen although lower res than x9u seems to be more colorful to my eyes. could be the bt2020 in play?

the smoothness of color os17 and the responsiveness when takign some pics cannot be understated.

will use for a few more days\ weeks than share more thoughts. right now i'm duo with this and duo....too many toys to play #firstworldproblem

DUI this and DUI that ?

but yea, its a pretty good flag ship just not the camera telephoto, seems lack luster, and no, your eyes arent tricking , think they turn up the contrast on the panel or that they are using the higher end panels which are close to x9u

however the refresh rate seems to be on par when iwas waiting for my find n6 to be re-stickered

DUI?

i'm happy with this. I don't mind losing the tele cos i mainly shoot wide and ultrawide. Was hoping the macro capabilities improved (it has)

also...i have IBS (itchy backside syndrome).

hence my jump from the x9u to the 10xpm.

managed to sell my x9u at a decent price and small topup of 200 for the x10pm. ok la.

the x10pM is something i prefer [ looks, 2nm , bigger battery , wider wide angle ]

but the telephoto for macro is really no horse run when i tried.

but yea, its one heck of a good phone, but pricing could have been better.

as for DUI i meant DIU lol typo

Hahahahah I thought you scold me “diu” man! Hahaha

but yes to all the newer improvements you mentioned, esp the design . Gotta stand out somehow. Circular camera plateau has\is done by so many brands

pricing wise I honestly expected worst. Better han Vivo

well, not much i dislike vivo's camera and hardware, problem is top heavy, and their OS is terrible to use.

whereas my transfer from find n6 to x9u is so easy, 2 days , 2hrs , done .

i think autofocus is better on x10pm than x9u. tested both instore side by side pointing at the same thing and the x9u had trouble getting autofocus right.

yup as i mentioned (and also in many china review).. oppo had this macro focusing issue since x8 ultra.. they finally fixed it in the x10 pm.. thats why to me x10pm is a better buy if u have the 20% voucher its almost the same price now..

interesting, unless we have colorOS 17 tweaking , or the underlying hardware chip for the camera module they did something.

its usually a firmware bios or code, since the specs are far off from each other in terms of camera.

so the only conclusion i can come up with are the ColorOS upgrade or that the hardware camera got anew custom patched auto focus

i suspect its the tuning of the lens.. bcoz they were unable to fix it since x8 ultra era.. i dont see anyone commenting on the improved autofocus in coloros 17 beta also in the old models lol..
