Oppo Find X8 Series

Sharks.... I got a unit few days ago and tried Android Auto connection yesterday. It didn't detect and I tried a few more cables. I had no problem with at least 4 other Android phones (Pixel, Sony) and iPhones. If this doesn't work, I will have to change to another manufacturer.

Just got my X8 a few days ago. Wireless Android Auto was working fine for 2 days until yesterday. Wired is working though.

Anyone's Android Auto not working on local set? Was working yesterday, but today no longer working. Trying to figure out if it is my vehicle head unit issue, or the Find X8 issue.

Is yours local or export set? Also, I am using Wireless Android Auto.

Mine is a local set, everything should be the latest version.

Just got my X8 a few days ago. Wireless Android Auto was working fine for 2 days until yesterday. Wired is working though.

Interesting, so do you know what changed after that 2 days? I have no opportunity to try wireless. Am wondering if a wireless adapter worth a try. The general feedback I noticed is, even if it works today, no guarantee it'll work on another day.

dun work is normal for china rom

but u get a good spec for the trade off

Did you solve it?

Partial solution. Toggle on/off wifi. Allow phone to connect with android auto on wifi, it will then connect wirelessly. However, problem surfaces again couple of days later. Longest I have gone is 2 days, connection issue will then resurface. Rinse and repeat till a permenent solution is found.

hi. just got an X8 local, can I check with you guys if the phone dialer is google phone dialer and can't use / no option to use Oppo phone dialer? can't find Oppo dialer in the app market either.

weird for some reason the default comes pre-installed is google phone dialer. And we had to download it manually from play store. Odialer is not even available in Oppo App Market.
