Finally hooted the FX8P, I found that the interface is not much differences since my last Oppo phone, R11 plus IIRC lol but the OS is fluid. Any recommendation on the settings, e.g. what settings should be turned off, camera settings, etc? Thanks.

Still setting up the phone, my experience so far.

- The Color OS needs a lot of app debloating, luckily most apps can be uninstalled, and disabled.
- Not a fan of the square icons; reskinning the UI takes some effort
- Performance is excellent—no complaints there. Much much better than P9PXL
- Haven’t fully tested the camera yet, but initial shots look promising
- I miss the Pixel Recorder; the built-in version lacks transcription and cloud upload. Open to recommendations
- I also miss the Pixel Photo Reimagine feature. Color OS might have a similar AI feature — I need to explore it further
- The Pixel’s haptic feedback is noticeably missing
- Love the OnePlus style alert slider
- USB-C 3.2 and UFS 4 make transferring large files (e.g., a 67GB WhatsApp backup) incredibly fast
- The 80W ultra-fast charging is fantastic and a real time-saver
- Battery life is awesome

so far after about 5hour usage updating and setting up new phone etc felt battery drop abit fast but my friend told me its the algorithm gotta let it run for 1 - 2 weeks first and see how. i upgraded from pocophone f3 to this so i am still monitoring camera look great so far. as for the discomfort for always enable reading mode to protect my eye from bluelight so no eye discomfort at all, im happy the phone can take photo fast and send thru whatsapp without needing to load for 5seconds. let me monitor while daily usage. feel free to let me know if theres any question im happy to response.
