Those who stood up started decades ago during dark days the young voters are too young to understand. I think time had changed and today there is no reason for opposition to exist.

The people has sent a message Singapore is okay with single party domination. Right now PAP is doing well, can't dispute that, no citizens is starving, pray hard they will never go rogue. Because in future if anything happen, no one will ever stand up again.

Those who has the heart to serve singapore and have a life long career in politics, I am sure PAP will welcome them to help PAP as grassroot.

got ppl say because they choose too many educated ppl for East coast , they are not as close to the ground as they used to be or thats what the people feel.

So Sinkie hard to please. Too close to ground, complain candidate crude and crass. Too educated, complain candidate not close to them.

No that i think this will happen but its about time all the oppo parties find common ground and consolidate their resources. This multi oppo party system just doesnt work at all and this result is a clear indication that voters do not buy into oppo parties that just pop up 2-3 months before election expecting voters to put them into parliment.
