ops manning meeting???? again

hi, can i ask for ops manning, how many times they can put you as det ic/2ic?
is it only one time (doesnt matter got activate or not).

when i attend the meeting for the first time, the person say only 1 time. but now i receive again call up to go for the same meeting...

also, can i defer the det ic/2ic meeting anot? i already booked air ticket for a trip and happen to be on that day...

also if i defer this 2 hour meeting, as i already booked and paid for the air tickets, what will happen to me? will i see be the ic or they will find someone else to take over the ic?

irritating because the person in the first meeting i went told us we will only be select once, next time round they choose other. now i get the call up again for the same meeting wah lao eh

actually more useful to call your unit directly

then say u can show proof of your air travel plans eg ticket etc.

discuss with them lor

sometimes they can choose different IC

if really bobian, nobody else suitable in your area, then you can see if you can arrange alternative; sometimes got makeup briefing session etc

or just tell them you know what to do etc.

see what your chief clerk say lor

defer the det briefing? of cos can la. its just a routine briefing. in fact they would have scheduled a few dates. they will probably assign u another date.

regarding det IC issue, who did u sound out to?

there is no limit to the times you will kena one. but since u do before, u should have the direct contact of the person who appointed you mah. call that person up asap lor.

really cannot resolve then call NS hotline.

Nope. I was not even the IC during our first few mannings. Dont understand why they dont rotate loh

they dun rotate cos this role needs someone who is willing and is responsible to do it.

so once they find someone, they will usually stick with that person for a while until that person make noise.

The over-all in charge dun just manage ur unit, he has to manage a few, so if he keep kena those problem cases, he will peng san.

manning is just 1 aspect of his job.
