does anyone know if my manning period is last week and this coming week, but I've been called back last weekend already...will they still call back this coming weekend? I'm thinking of travelling overseas for leisure on this coming weekend (not booked yet), but the manning period not over yet. any advice? thanks in advance!

Hmm.. For those I bolded:

* 02 x Green Socks (01 pair) - 02 green socks means 01 right sock, 01 left sock = 01 pair, right?

* 01 x Mess Tin (01 side only) - Since the Mess Tin that the Army uses usually comes in a set together, 01 x big and 01 x small, when this list indicates 01 side only, does it mean to include only 01 Mess Tin?

* 02 x Candles - Are they referring to 02 boxes of candles?

The way they type is a bit confusing.

last manning they say they will implement simi system so that we no need call, now still send me the list for the next upcoming one

Easier to check and identify if u do it. They normally only check the 1st or 2nd time, after that is just bring and leave it there.

Hmm ok.. For this Packet 9, I wonder how it is? Flanelette pieces? I thought Flanelette is issued upon manning?

Only pack items that you can have. Those issued items(et stick and plate) can ignore.

I still remember during my ICT our platoon's list differed from another platoon. They had PT shoes we did not. We had torch light but no battery. They had torch light and battery.

So from my post, the items that we can have and should only be having - Packet 1, Packet 2, Packet 3, Packet 4, Packet 6 and the Personal Items (ID Tag, Ear plugs).. Isn't it?

Those that we cannot have and should be ignored - Packet 5 and Packet 9? I understand that OHP markers and Range Cards can be purchased, but Pipe Cleaner and Flannelette also?

standby cant defer ones... just need to call your unit to inform them u got exams on that day with evidences supporting it...

Pls be there within the time frame... either u make others wait for u... or someone will call u non stop or someone will visit u if they cant find u... provided they dont approve your reason...

each yr there be standards of standby twice...

2 Sat ago got call and rush down... despite the haze that bad... ended up wearing N95 mask lol lucky ate breakfast early... or be fasting till they released us...

I don't think it's advisable to say which div or unit is on manning. There is a reason why they flash the code name instead of the div or unit.
