Hi guys, what do you think about the OCS. It is convenient and everything but is it good value for money?

Np, appears that it's not exactly cheap

New package deal for BTO flat buyers

but certainly hassle free and peace of mind.

But I went to HDB to take a look the tiles and stuff are different for each project and you can't choose anything other than take it or leave it.

The sanitary fittings dont look too nice, one of the sink's design is real ugly haha pity hdb dont put the pics online.

I will pop by tpy hub later to have a look.
Hopefully the designs are in the open, I believe Hdb works 5 days only, don't want to be locked out.

Lol

This article shows why I will be going for only the flooring offered to me via OCS and not the doors.
The doors HDB offers are so ugly and they are much more expensive than private contractors.

Who cares if they are firmer internally? I'm not gonna bang down my doors or take a hammer to it for fun.

Did you take a look at hdb hub? The diff tile designs for each NOV BTO projects are out also. You may not like the designs haha.

Doors look simple, but if more ex than not worth already.

Already have. Went down to HDB Hub quite a few weeks ago to check out the flooring options offered for the BTO I applied for. Quite pleased with it therefore will be taking it up. Frees up more cash for other renovations or furnishings.

The doors really look quite horrid to me and my SO.
Rather get the doors on my own. Cheaper and lots more choices.

I went to see the OCS components today, the doors type D9a and D9 are FUGLY, not even UGLY, imho. I quite like the D10a type though, but can't choose that for the Fengshan Greenville I applied for. Sadly...

Oh oh, and ya, the Basin is ugly too.... however, the basin for 5 rooms standard and all premium flat looks nice! I wonder why they dont offer to those 4 room standard and below flats. :(

The ugly basin you referring to the one with the "leg"? haha. How do you know which type of door which project gets?

Somehow it's the opposite for me when I was there.
Flooring was still acceptable.. Basic, nothing fanciful. Tolerable.

Fittings and doors for rooms and bathrooms are ugly. That's an understatement.

Yup. Main door and gate are included in the price of your unit.
