So msia n Thailand ones under what

any diff in English names?
Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan using the same as Singapore lor, not sure about Thailand. Only China trying to be different like the America using their own measurement unit instead of the matrix unit same as other. As you can see 车里子 is the direct pronunciation of Cherry, but they still insist of calling New Zealand as 新西兰 instead of 纽西兰.

tiagong this is marketing. cause 车里子 sounded more atas compared to 樱桃.
车里子 reminds you of overseas exotic fruits while 樱桃 reminds you of the monkey

Not sure about that but 车里子 sound like something inside a car to me. I also remember a major joke of them telling me that we must eat apple on Christmas because it is 平安果.
