If i placed an order for a item discounted to $0 dollar, can the seller later claim to cancel the order and claim wrong pricing?

I placed the order on the seller's own website. They have a Singapore address, email and contact number.

Asking because I am thinking ahead...

You can only place the order and hope for the best. If the order is cancelled, no loss to you also.

nothing wrong, invitation to treat

Offer
An offer is an undertaking which is made by the offeror with the intention to be legally bound by the terms of the binding contract upon the acceptance of the offer by the offeree. The offer must express or imply a promise to be legally bound by the offer, and not simply an invitation to treat.

A key concept on the element of offer is to ascertain the distinction between an offer and an invitation to treat. An offer can give rise to a binding contract whereas an invitation to treat does not as it is merely an invitation for offers.

As a customer walks in a shop with goods being displayed on the shelves, the goods do not constitute as offers but mere invitation to treat. It is the customer who makes the offer to purchase the goods when he takes the goods off the shelves and proceeds to the cashier for payment. It is the cashier, on behalf of the entity he or she is working for, who will therefore decide whether to accept the customer’s offer or not. An agreement would be formed if the cashier were to accept the customer’s offer to purchase the goods.

got free items before on shopee. if have, just take la. If don't have just let it go. No obligation to let you have it for free if it was a honest mistake.

As long as its not delivered to u, dont count ur chicken before they hatch.. How much is the item supposed to be?

Lazada got seller cancelled before for those flash/crazy sales where items go at huge discount at certain hours etc.. make me waste my time to use my fat fingers to camp and try snatch against so many botters and happy for nth.. its not even $0, its like 5xx to 1xx and 1xx is the advertised price some more.. then give me compensation $100 voucher, but their items minimum also 5xx, its as good as dont give..

It is $0 u got nothing to lose but since u are not using official e-commerce platform be careful if the seller website ask for sensitive personal info like cc info although u don't have to pay anything. Also don't download & install any app if it is required to enjoy this free offer.
