Osaka-Kyoto Trip

Hi All,

I'm in midst of planning my Japan trip in Nov.
Have read thou alot of info but im still confused with it..

I need some advise on how to go from Osaka(Staying around Sakuragawa Station) to kyoto( Around Kujo Station)

Btw, I'm not purchasing any JR passes.

I am not familiar with the area u are staying, but I looks quite out of the way, needing multiple transfers to get to

i looked at the subway map. if don't want too many transfers, suppose you can walk to taisho station from sakuragawa.

then kyoto station also walkable to kujo. hence, only one transfer needed at osaka station.

Osaka -Kyoto train ( non JR ) fare is quite cheap even just buy from machine.

I stayed next to Minamikata Station & travelled direct .

Used the Pass because travelled more than Kyoto.

Usually the fastest way is by bullet train, but local train is cheap (JPY800) here.
If you have IC card (Icoca, Suica, etc.), might be cheaper.
