A holistic understanding of these factors is crucial to anticipating future conditions, and formulating appropriate policies and plans. With more data at our fingertips, new tools are emerging to help us make sense of what is happening.
This exhibition presents some of the most cutting-edge technologies and techniques for data analysis and visualisation. Although still under development, we can already imagine how they might enhance urban planning – from uncovering new spatial patterns, to testing ‘what if’ scenarios, to facilitating public participation. Join us in mapping our city and its future possibilities.
