Anyone tried to overclock this board to any success?

I am using a Q9400 running 2.66GHz default speed. How far can I push the speed limit running with fan cooling? :s7:

Using the same board as u, but running it with a C2D E8400 instead.

Stock settings were supposed to be 1.25v vCore but i'm currently running it at 3.6Ghz (400x9) with 1.15v vCore, 1.120 after vDroop.

I think it's weird that i could increase the FSB while undervolting it, but it's been running for months without any system crashes.

Care to share some screenshots of your settings? I am kind of a newbie to this.

I have changed my settings to 385 x 8.5 (3.3GHz) in BIOS but somehow I am still reading this under CPUid, which is running even slower than stock speed 2.6Ghz... ???

Did you disable C1E/C2E/C4E/EIST? Those are the power-saving technologies of the board that will lower the FSB/multipliers to conserve on power when your cpu is on an idle state.

Y dun u oc via the bios setting ?

Before u start oc, advisable to disable following features in the Advanced Bios selection:

* Limit CPUID Max. to 3
* No-Execute Memory Protect
* CPU Enhanced Halt (C1E)
* C2/C2E State Support
* C4/C4E State Support
* CPU EIST Function
* Virtualization Technology

i've tried but the result is weird, not corresponding to the setting i made in BIOs. Why do we need to disable the above mentioned features b4 oc'ing?

Just curious, what RAM are you using for oc'ing? I am using a older Corsair XMS2 800 and doesn't seem to achieve much boost.
