Prime95 ver26.6 small FFT.

Yeah adaptive would give higher voltage so I used manual.

uncore fixed at 100MHz didn't change.

The thing is for this chip the jump to 4.8GHz kinda requires quite a jump in voltage, and researched online that a lot of people are almost requiring near 1.3v to hit that clock speed stable.

i think your temps are okay. my laptop i7 4500U runs at 80deg for 1.5years alr still no prob

Daily it never exceed 70

During games it is usually 58c ish if weather really jialat maybe 63c iirc (since my HWM is always on).


What's your clock speed and temps like BTW? Since you also same chip same cooler same mobo :3

Online mostly is chao ang mor context where their ambient is much lower than sinkie temps...

set your voltage to offset, enjoy power savings and lower temps at idle.

Type too fast lol. Change daily to but and it will make more sense. I kept mine at 46 1.2 vcore. More volts ur chip will degrade faster due to ESM. Anyway 1.2 vcore is slightly below recommended so it is a safe voltage for daily usage.

im getting 1036 only but i think XTU registers it at 4.4 instead of 4.7.
somehow i cant change the turbo ratio >44 in XTU settings. maybe cause im on h97 mobo. but the max processor freq it detects is 4.7

can set offset voltage instead of fixed volt. i heard adaptive might give more than 1.3V during synthetic stress test and hurt the chip?

You try running Intel Burn Test and see your system crash.........

So far never seen a CPU that can do 5GHz below 1.3V, all require insane voltage and don't last long.

im pretty sure its 4.7 on all cores. cpu z and hwinfo showed that while the XTU was running. could it be due to the temp? i got 83deg on it. kinda expected since im using low profile cooler
