Overclocking temperatures?

This is 3.8Ghz, 1.248v at max 62deg under load using cryorig h5 at singapore ambient temp.

Mine 3.725Ghz, 1.248v at max 61deg under load, cryorig R1 uni, singapore ambient temp.

Singu 3.775Ghz, 1.275v, max 85 deg under load, stock cooler, singapore ambient temp.

TS is 3.6Ghz, 1.25v at max 80deg under load.

I don't know man.... I'm no expert....does it look like he lost the silicon lottery?

prime stress test produce more heat though, have to keep that in mind.
also its 1.26v :3, it drop during idle.

Had to reset CMOS because I screwed up RAM settings, my stress temperature still the same as before but idle temp keep spiking from 39 Deg to 50 even though not running anything... Think I'll see if I can get a replacement with Lazada, then check if my temps are still high. Thanks for the help guys.

Cryorig H5 is really good cooler, not sure about the new H5 Quad Lumi. Cannot find any youtuber doing reviews between these 2 versions.

I don't own a 1600, but just wanted to add that I've noticed higher temps overall on my 1600X when I bump up the SoC voltage (NB voltage on MSI bios) to stabilize higher RAM clocks.

iirc offhand: going from 1.00V to 1.15V SoC/NB pushed up max temps by about 4-5C.

Hmmm you get what you pay for :/
But you really only have to worry when cpu hits 95 and above. Low 80s are fine on stock cooler.

Well, 95W TDP vs 120++W TDP is a lot of difference in terms of how much heat it can dissipate.

I got the 1st batch of Ryzen 5 1600.
Mine wasn't as good as the current results you guys have.
